cochrane on stage again!
Veteran Canadian rocker Cochrane will be "Taking it Home" on his latest tour, together with his band Red Rider. A recipient of the Order of Canada and a Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee, he has garnered eight Juno Awards and received a Grammy nomination for his 1993 anthemic hit Life Is A Highway, which was later used on the Pixar film Cars.
Starting off playing the Toronto coffee houses in his early days, Cochrane joined the band Red Rider in 1977, together releasing a total of five albums that gave us sure-fire hits such as "Human Race", "Boy Inside The Man" and "Victory Day". After lauching his solo career in 1991, Cochrane leapt to instant international success with his debut solo album, Mad Mad World. In addition to creating potent new material, he is a keen humanitarian, which has all contributed to cementing his place in the Canadian fabric and culture.
