I'm not a Broadway snob. I promise you, I'm not. There was so much wrong with this show, I couldn't figure out why!!!!! Terrible mis-casting. The pace of the show (would the first act ever end?) The best part of the show, is the bit for not using your cell phones during the show. It went downhill fast after that. Let's start with A;lexis Gordon. SDhe is stunning with an amazing voice. A voice suited for Les Miz, or opera, but not a song and dance broadway voice. Lets take Alexandra Herzog. Her signature song..... "A poison, can develop a cold"... it's got to be a New York accent, or close to it. Alex, not close. I could go on, but I'm running out of room. Suffice to say, Donna Feore blew it. All the flaws, and there are many, can be blamed on Donna. What was she thinking.? Donna, you took a proven play, a classic, , and made it into a high-school, lets put on a show, and save the barn,, endeavor. Sorry... but Stratford deserves much better.
