Inimitable funnyman Pauly Shore first found fame in the 1990s with a persona entitled 'The Weasel', a stoner parody that attracted the attention of MTV, leading to a string of TV and film roles that capitalized on the stand-up skill he'd cultivated since the tender age of 17. Comedy runs in his veins; his mother founded the famous Comedy Store in LA and his father was an old-school comic, opening shows for the likes of Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.
One of Britain's most successful young comedians will once again make you squirm with his inimitably and sometimes rude yet always springy, cheerful comedy. With his impish personality and his boy-next-door smile, he creates joy from everyday observations and is never afraid to poke fun at the news, and those who make it. Don't miss the chance to see him live!
Whose Live Anyway (originally called A Night of Improv) first appeared in 1999 when it sold out two shows in under three hours to very enthusiastic crowds in Vancouver. Following its initial success, Whose Line Executive Producer and star Ryan Stiles expanded the number of appearances of the show to include many major cities in the Western USA and Canada where it has remained a constant sell-out.
Darth Vader was a bad father. William Shatner is Canada's greatest actor. These are among the many hot button topics which have been discussed on The Debaters over the years, and the resulting discussion is never less than hilarious. The Debaters pits two comedians against each other as they each take the opposing side of an argument. The winner is decided by the audience, with whoever gets the most applause at the end of the show being declared the victor! Presiding over proceedings is the award-winning comic Steve Patterson.
World famous mesmerist Asad Mecci and legendary improvisational comedian Colin Mochrie join forces for one of the most unpredictable, jaw-dropping shows you'll have ever witnessed in HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis. The daring format takes twenty volunteers from the audience being put under hypnosis live onstage. As their minds become swayed they're eventually whittled down to the five most suggestible, who'll spend the rest of the evening subconsciously performing with the world's greatest improv comedian!
