The prestigious company bring their Swan Lake to you!
Ballet Jorgen du Canada once again presents their very Canadian version of the Nutcracker. Choreographed by Bengt Jorgen to Tchaikovsky's timeless music, The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition is a visual feast that features over 100 costumes, and backdrops comprised of well-known 20th Century artworks. Among the usual cavalcade of mice and tin soldiers, expect to see a few Mounties and lumberjacks.
Don't miss the prestigious State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine as they come to North America for the first time ever with their sublime production of the esteemed pinnacle of classical ballet; Swan Lake. Featuring a cast of over 50 dancers, expect a breathtaking experience, with Marcus Petipa's iconic choreography, glittering sets and stunning costumes filling the stage, all shining under Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score. Be it your first time, or your 5th, there is no better way to enjoy ballet than with a performance of Swan Lake!
An all-American, all-male, drag ballet corps which parodies the conventions and cliches of romantic and classical ballet. For the future, there are plans for new works in the repertoire: new cities, states and countries to perform in; and for the continuation of the TROCKS' original purpose: to bring the pleasure of dance to the widest possible audience. They will, as they have done for nearly 40 years, 'Keep on Trockin'!
